Miss Laura Forrest

Laura Forrest has had a love for dance since the age of three when she was introduced to creative movement classes in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. At age five she moved to Lethbridge, Alberta and has training in all styles of dance. She holds her Al Gilbert Tap Nine, Royal Academy of Dance Intermediate Ballet and Grade 8 Ballet Examinations.

After graduation, she was accepted into The Source Dance Company in Vancouver BC, under direction of Joanne Pesusich. Moving to Vancouver presented Laura with the opportunity to train with North America’s Top Choreographers. She performed with Source in Harbour Dance Centre’s “Under One Roof”, Source Dance Company’s “What Happens in Vegas”, and with Small Stage for “The Vancouver Santa Claus Parade.” Laura was also a dancer in Michelle Creber’s Music Video’s “Lottery”and “Like it Never Happened,” as well as Jon Cestnick’s “Blinded.” She is excited to be able to share her knowledge and love of dance with aspiring dancers back home in Southern Alberta.
