All of our session classes are based on creativity & imagination while introducing basic skills and technique to our students. Session classes are the perfect introduction for first-time movers or the returning student looking to build on their technique.

Ages 2-5
Move with Me (under 3)
(Creative Dance with guardian participation)

Multi-generational dance class for children 3 and under who are ready to start dancing with their family! Covering a variety of movements, rhythms and songs in a fun environment. Parents/guardians enjoy participating with the children as the music moves them.

Creative Movement 3-4 years
(Ballet and Creative Movement)
6 week session | $57.75 tax included
This 30 minute class is a great introduction to movement, dance and independence! Students will explore different styles of movement and motion based on ballet and creative movement foundations. Using a variety of rhythms, steps and creative imagination, students will begin to build their dance skills.

Creative Movement (additional details)
Creative Movement is geared towards students ages 3 & 4 however we will accommodate children up to 5 years of age in this program. This is an unassisted class and students participate without a parent or guardian present. *Students can repeat this program 2-3 times before progressing to our Mini Dance.
Mini Dance 4-5 years
(Ballet, Tap and Creative Movement)
10 week sessions | $126.00 tax included
This 45 minute class is the next step those Creative Movement students ready to further develop their skills. Recommended for the returning 4 year old or first time 5 year old, this class will use creative imagination while developing basic skills in Ballet and Tap.
1) Saturdays 10:15-11:00 | January 17th to March 28th * no class Feb. 14th *FULL*
2) Mondays 4:30-5:15 | January 12th to March 23rd *no class Feb. 16th *FULL*
3) Wednesdays 10:30-11:15 | January 7th to March 18th * no class Feb. 18th * 1 spot left*
Mini Dance (additional details)
Mini Dance is a combo class that is recommended for 4 year olds with previous Creative Movement experience or 5 year olds new to dance. This program is unassisted and students participate in studio without a guardian present. *Students can repeat this program 2-3 times before moving to Creative Combo (Sessional) or our Full Year Program (September to June)
Tap shoe rental* is available for an additional $15.75 and must be arranged at time of registration

Ages 6-8
Beginner Hip Hop 6-8 years with Miss Taylor
8 week sessions | $100.80 tax included
Perfect for kids with lots of energy to burn, students will explore this groove-based style while dancing to popular music. Students are asked to wear comfortable movement clothing and clean non-marking hip hop shoes or runners.
Fridays 2:00-2:45 | January 30th to March 20th
Intro to Acro Dance 6-8 years with Miss Taylor
5 week sessions | $63.00 tax included
If you have a little one who loves to bend, roll and tumble, then this program if for them. Incorporating flexibility, strength and coordination to up beat music and rhythms. This is an excellent introductory program for new to Dance/Acro students!

Creative Combo 6-8 years with Miss Taylor
(Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Creative Movement)
5 week sessions | $63.00 tax included
This Tap, Jazz, Ballet combo is the perfect class to keep kids moving. Students develop their technique in the three core styles of dance while enjoying creative movement, themes and games.

Adaptive Dance 10-14 years with Miss Claire
(Dance Basics and Creative Movement)
6 week session | $63.00 tax included
Join Miss Claire for a 6 week session in Adaptive Dance. This is an all ability class focused on improving balance, coordination, strength and musicality. Students will develop individual expression and creativity while learning dance basics.
Saturdays 11:15-12:00 | February 21st to March 28th
Youth Beginner Ballet 12-15 years with Miss Amara 6
6 week sessions | $75.60 tax included
This ballet class is perfect for beginner dancers or those returning to class after some time away. Focusing on balance, coordination, posture and grace, students will work on basic ballet technique and connecting steps together.
Saturdays 12:45-1:30 | February 21st to March 28th

All classes run based on pre-registration and will be confirmed 7-10 business days prior to the start date. Payment is required on the day of registration to secure your spot and can be sent by transfer to info@hapticdancearts.com .
Registration is complete when we have received both the student form and your payment.
Listed session fees include GST.
Session Fee & Cancellation Policies
- Session class fees are required to be paid at the time of registration in order to hold your place in the class.
- Session class fees are subject to a 25% admin fee should you withdraw with less than a 14 days prior to the session start date.
- Session class fees are non-refundable after the session has started.
- Deferred payments can be arranged for another session at the discretion of the Artistic Director
- Should there be a Government mandated closure, classes will continue online until it is possible to return to in-person learning.
- Please Note: Our studio has a closed door policy which introduces students to an unassisted environment. This helps to develop both confidence and independence. Parents/guardians are welcome to stay in our reception area during class however do not enter the dance studio with their student. All of our sessional classes wrap up with an open viewing of the last class of the session to see what we have been working on. This policy goes for all of our children’s sessional classes with the exception of Move with Me which is our Under 3 assisted class.
