With over 20 years teaching experience, Miss Claire believes in fostering a love of movement while teaching students to dance.  She’s a technician at heart and values the importance of developing a solid foundation while encouraging students to explore a variety of creative processes.  Claire is passionate for sharing dance with students of all ages and abilities, and strives to engage all of her classes in a fun,  focused and inclusive environment.

Anali Reizvikh grew up in Lethbridge, dancing with Gerry Unger at Dance Images where dance became a passion and where dance family was a safe place to land.

She graduated from the RAD’s Certification in Ballet Teaching studies in 2006 and holds her RAD Advanced 2 certificate. Her dance training has taken her to Calgary, Vancouver, New York and Toronto. While working as a dance artist in Toronto she had the privilege of performing and training with Cadence Progressive Ballet, Gadfly and Kaeja d’Dance. She taught at City Dance Corps and guest taught at Canadian Children’s Dance Theatre. Anali co-founded in’trinzik Dance Project and the collective had the honor of winning the audience choice award at the Chimera Project’s Fresh Blood 2013.

In 2014 she moved back to Lethbridge and is now growing up, learning and un-learning with her two kids, Alex and Nicky. They have opened her eyes on a whole new level to how important it is for students to have a village of people who believe in them, support their goals, meet them where they’re at and work to keep their spark alive. That can be the real magic of growing up in the arts, and that is the kind of teacher she strives to be.

China Friesen grew up dancing from the age of 5 and immediately fell in love with the art. It was in her first year of dancing that she knew she wanted to be a dance teacher. She grew up as a competitive dancer, primarily based in Cranbrook BC, and was trained in contemporary, ADAPT jazz and tap and RAD ballet.

China began teaching classes when she was 15 years old fulfilling her childhood dream. She absolutely loves teaching and choreographing but most of all she enjoys seeing her students succeed and flourish. When China isn’t dancing she can be found running after her four young children or in the kitchen trying to master the art of baking sourdough bread.

Audrey Hildahl began dancing at the age of three, and has since gained years of training in various dance styles. Making it into the LCI Arts Dance Academy in grade 9, Audrey has since had opportunities to dance with many well-known Canadian choreographers in houses like contemporary, hip hop, house/jazz, modern, top and down rocking, locking/popping, and more. She then joined Haptic Dance Arts in 2022 as a student to further her training in ballet and contemporary.

With experience teaching and choreographing for the LCI Dance grade 12 show and helping to make floor routines for West Winds Gymnastics, Audrey hopes to carry on her passion and deep love for dance through teaching and continuing to train. Loving to learn and perform, she is always ready to dance and willing to try something new.
